Redshanks

I seldom get to see Common and Spotted Redshanks next to each other.
Here we can clearly see the difference in bill, size, supercilium and plumage.

That's such a good comparison of the two similar species!
The Spotted Redshank in breeding plumage is alwasys one of my favourite forms of waders.
